In 2024, we took a significant leap forward by becoming members of the Chicago Fair Trade. This isn’t just a badge of honor; it’s a reflection of our commitment to fairness, sustainability, and empowerment on a global scale. Through this platform, we’re amplifying the voices of Ghanaian artisans and advocating for practices that respect both people and the planet.

Our partnerships have also flourished in beautiful ways. With Akooshi, we turned discarded coconut shells into stunning, functional art pieces—a celebration of creativity and sustainability. Through our collaboration with the talented women of Sabruka, we deepened our dedication to preserving Ghana’s heritage by supporting shea butter makers who embody resilience and craftswomanship.

Impacting Lives, One Project at a Time

Your support has made a tangible difference this year. Together, we achieved milestones that will ripple through communities for years to come:

• Providing Clean Water: Through our partnership with the GOPA Foundation, we helped build a clean drinking water tank for Mampong Methodist Junior High School. Access to safe water is life-changing and a gift you helped give.

• Supporting Education: We donated 100 backpacks filled with school supplies to students at Akropong M.A Basic School, Mampong Methodist JSH, and children in the basket-weaving community of Ayebase. These backpacks are more than just supplies; they symbolize hope and opportunity for the next generation.

These achievements are a testament to what we can accomplish together. Every purchase you make is a step toward building sustainable futures for artisans and their families while preserving Ghana’s rich traditions and artistry.
